I have a stir fry that I cook for the family once in awhile that is quick and simple to make.
First take some steak and cut it into small strips or chunks.(Some supermarkets or meat markets will have precut meat for stir fry)
Prepare enough rice that will be necessary for the servings required. If you are using regular rice, remember that the "cooked" amount is about twice that as the dry amount.
Do this while rice in cooking: Cook the meat without any oil in a skillet. You can add a small amount of butter or margarine to cook the meat in. Once the meat is browned nicely, pour off the liquid left by the meat and add in some teriyaki sauce. Cook the meat in the teriyaki sauce until it is completely cooked.
Once everything is done, serve the meat on top of the rice. Have soy sauce on hand so the diners may flavor to their particular taste.
See simple. You may add in any extras that you may want, such as stir fry veggies. I just like to keep mine simple and the family loves it.
